BALAD AIR BASE, Iraq-- The secretary of the Air Force visited airmen on Oct. 9, 2023, during her tour across the U.S. Central Command area of operations.  

Deborah Lee James toured the facilities and living quarters of the airmen on base and received a briefing regarding current operations.
